Role Overview:

As an MEP Engineer (Electric Design Focus) at Lohia Global, you will be responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for real estate projects. This role focuses on ensuring that our developments have efficient, safe, and sustainable electrical infrastructure, contributing to the creation of modern and functional spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed electrical designs and specifications for real estate projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.

2. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into building designs.

3. Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather data and identify electrical infrastructure requirements.

4. Design and specify HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems for optimal indoor environmental quality and energy efficiency.

5. Provide site expertise, offering insights and recommendations for optimal placement and installation of electrical components.

6. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents for electrical works to facilitate the procurement process.

7. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of electrical systems.

8. Conduct quality inspections and tests to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

9. Oversee the design and installation of CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems, ensuring security needs are met.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering for real estate development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineering, with a focus on electrical design, preferably in the real estate sector.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration into building designs.

- Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.

- Familiarity with CCTV system design and installation.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
